Ex-NBA Referee Talks About The Mafia’s Involvement In The NBA!

Tim Donaghy did not conduct himself honorably when he decided to bet on NBA games. As a NBA referee,it a total betrayal to the game. Not to mention that it’s also illegal.Despite that,Donaghy has redeemed himself somewhat in my eyes by coming clean about the mafia’s involvement in the NBA.

I am delighted to finally hear one of these refs admit what many have suspected all along.Referees sometimes make their calls based on personal feelings & outside influences.

Here’s more from 6O Minutes:

“And Donaghy might well have gotten away with it. He might still be reffing and betting today. But he fell in with the mob.

Donaghy was placing those bets through a friend. He was too scared of getting caught to do it himself. And their winning streak went on uninterrupted for three years. But in the fourth year, that friend let slip that he was getting his betting tips from an NBA ref.

The mob found out about it and wanted in on the action. That’s when Donaghy discovered what it means to be really scared.

It started outside a hotel at Philadelphia’s airport: the FBI says two men associated with the Gambino crime family requested a meeting with Donaghy and took him for a ride.

“They came down and picked me up,” Donaghy remembered. “They basically told me that I needed to give them the picks. And if I didn’t that it’s a possibility that somebody would go down and visit my wife and kids in Florida.”

Donaghy said he believed them and was scared. From then on his picks were relayed to the mob.

Asked how he communicated his bets to the mob, Donaghy said, “I would discuss it with a high school friend of mine, who would pass the information along to them.”

There was a code. “The code was if I want them to be the home team, I would discuss his brother Chuck. And if I wanted him to bet the visiting team, I would mention his brother Johnny,” Donaghy explained.

FBI Special Agent Scala told Simon the FBI made a very conservative estimate that the mob made at least a few million dollars off Donaghy’s picks.

Donaghy said the mob was paying him $2,000 per correct pick – peanuts considering they were making millions.

Asked why he didn’t ask for more money, Donaghy said, “It wasn’t about the money, at that point… It was just about getting through the season and hoping that’d end it.”

Because the mob put a lot of money on his picks, they were not good losers. We told you that in one game, Donaghy threw out the coach of the team they were betting on. That cost the mob the bet and they were not happy.

“They had questions as to why I did it,” Donaghy remembered. “I just told them that I wasn’t making calls in games to win, influence the outcome. And no I’m not gonna be able to obviously predict the winner every night. And you know, they have to accept that that’s what’s gonna happen.”

Asked if the mobsters accepted that, Donaghy told Simon, “I’m not sure that they accepted it or not, but that was the information that I passed to them.”

As it turned out, his mob connection brought him down.

The FBI, which was monitoring mob phone calls, heard that an NBA ref was betting on games. The information made it to Special Agent Scala, who headed the FBI’s Gambino family task force.

“One of the case agents had come into my office and said that they had information from a wire tap stating that there was huge sums of money being made and that someone thought that a ref may be involved,” Scala remembered.

“So if you hadn’t gotten involved with the mob you might still be out there reffing and betting on your own games?” Simon asked.

“Possibly,” Donaghy admitted.”(End of Excerpt) Read the rest here.

One Of The World’s Scariest Looking Blonds,Ann Coulter,Is Being Investigated!

Annie Get Your Gun

Why am I aiming such vitriolic language at Ann Coulter, you might ask? It’s because I think that she should get a taste of her own medicine! After all, Ann Coulter said this about the 9/11 widows:

“These broads are millionaires, lionized on TV and in articles about them, reveling in their status as celebrities and stalked by grief-arazzis. I’ve never seen people enjoying their husbands’ deaths so much.”

If that wasn’t evil enough for you, look at this transcript of an interview that Ann Coulter did with Sean Hannity that I obtained from Media Matters. Here’s an excerpt:

From the June 7 edition of Fox News’ Hannity & Colmes:

HANNITY: “Coulter the Cruel.” From what I understand, even Hillary was attacking you today.

COULTER: Yes.

HANNITY: And what were her comments?

COULTER: She said the book should have been named “Heartless.” It was mean to these women. And I responded to the New York Times reporter asking for a comment that, before Hillary refers to other people being mean to women, she should talk to her husband, who was accused of rape by Juanita Broaddrick and was groping Kathleen Willey simultaneously with her own spouse committing suicide. Maybe she should talk to her husband about being mean to women.

HANNITY: Let me start — let’s set the controversy for the book, because I actually read the book cover to cover, and I read the chapter in question here.

COULTER: Thank you.

HANNITY: You’re making a broader point. You’re saying that liberalism cannot be sold by the people in office, and you feel people like Cindy Sheehan, who lost a son in Iraq —

COULTER: Right.

HANNITY: — Jack Murtha, who was a former Marine —

COULTER: Right.

HANNITY: — these four — what you call Jersey women.

COULTER: They call themselves the Jersey Girls.

HANNITY: The Jersey Girls, they lost husbands on 9-11.

COULTER: Right, along with thousands of other women, yes.

HANNITY: And you are saying that they are being used by the left to make points that they cannot make on their own. Isn’t that the point of the chapter?

COULTER: Yes, it’s liberal infallibility. They used to have complete, 100 percent control of news dissemination in America. They lost that with Fox News, with talk radio, with the Internet. So then they started complaining about, you know, angry voices, political dialogue has never been so divisive. And then people remember the sweetness and light we were getting from the left during, say, the [Supreme Court nominee Robert] Bork hearings, so that wasn’t really working.

So now they send out spokespeople who, because of some personal tragedy, we’re not allowed to respond to, because their husbands died in 9-11, because they had a son die in Iraq. If they’re making a point worth making, they are entering the public dialogue, how about letting Howard Dean make the point?

HANNITY: All right, but here’s — here — I guess this is what people are saying. This is why you’re on the front page of the tabloids in New York. You’re saying they’ve entered the political arena. Now, I’ve gone and I’ve been looking at some of the comments, for example, of the Jersey women in particular.

COULTER: Right.

HANNITY: They have been very harsh about Condi Rice, about Karl Rove —

COULTER: Oh, yes.

HANNITY: — about President Bush, very outspoken. They were on the campaign trail with John Edwards and with John Kerry.

COULTER: Right. They cut a campaign commercial for Kerry.

HANNITY: They cut a campaign — so basically what you’re saying is, if they’re going to enter the political arena separate from the loss of their husbands, that now this is a dialogue. If they call the president a liar, this is now a dialogue. And you’re saying most people won’t dare get engaged with them because of what they’ve been through, which is the purpose of —

COULTER: That’s certainly been true until now. I think I’ve opened it up now. I think I’ve broken the taboo.”(End of Excerpt) Read the rest of this transcript & others by clicking here.

And now that cackling scarecrow, known as Ann Coulter, is being investigated for voter fraud. Ha, ha, ha!! Sorry, but this is so funny that I couldn’t contain my laughter! She’s such a horrid person that I can’t help but to feel gleeful about her current dilemna. Here’s more from The Daily News:

“Ann Coulter is being probed. Following our Jan. 11 column, Connecticut’s Elections Enforcement Commission is making a “thorough investigation” of whether the conservative pundit broke the law by voting in the Nutmeg State while living in New York City, according to a commission spokeswoman.
Officials are responding to a formal complaint filed by Coulterwatch.com blogger Dan Borchers. “For over 10 years, Ann Coulter has gotten away with illegal, immoral and unethical behavior, ranging from plagiarism to defamation, perjury to voter fraud,” claims the conservative Borchers. Coulter declined to comment, but in the past has branded Borchers a stalker. He says the FBI has determined he poses no threat.”(End of Excerpt) Read more here.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.: A Prophetic American Visionary Whose Killer Is An Enigma!

Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday is actually Jan. 15,although it will be celebrated one day before Obama’s inauguration. Our incoming president represents the culmination of MLK’s famous dream. We have this great American visionary to thank for helping to start the Civil Rights movement. Who knows what this country would be like if Martin Luther King Jr. had not sprung up from it? He was like the Pied Piper with the way he delivered his melodic speeches. Everyone became mesmerized by the way he weaved his words & created moving, stirring dialogue that compelled folks to not only listen, but to act. Here’s more about Martin Luther King Jr. from Wikipedia:
“Martin Luther King, Jr. (January 15, 1929 – April 4, 1968) was an African American clergyman, activist and prominent leader in the American civil rights movement. His main legacy was to secure progress on civil rights in the United States and he is frequently referenced as a human rights icon today.

A Baptist minister,King became a civil rights activist early in his career. He led the 1955 Montgomery Bus Boycott and helped found the Southern Christian Leadership Conference in 1957, serving as its first president.

King’s efforts led to the 1963 March on Washington, where King delivered his “I Have a Dream” speech. There, he raised public consciousness of the civil rights movement and established himself as one of the greatest orators in U.S. history.

In 1964, King became the youngest person to receive the Nobel Peace Prize for his work to end racial segregation and racial discrimination through civil disobedience and other non-violent means. By the time of his death in 1968, he had refocused his efforts on ending poverty and opposing the Vietnam War, both from a religious perspective.

King was assassinated on April 4, 1968, in Memphis, Tennessee. He was posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1977 and Congressional Gold Medal in 2004; Martin Luther King, Jr. Day was established as a U.S. national holiday in 1986.”(End of Excerpt) Read the whole entry here:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Luther_King,_Jr.

Who really killed Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr remains an enigma. Oh,the mystery was supposedly solved when they named James Earl Ray as the shooter. But, many believe that there is no way that he had the wherewithal to act alone. And with evidence that the FBI sent the letter pictured above to coerce Martin Luther King into taking his own life, is it really that far-fetched to believe they were involved in his death? Here’s more on that theory from truthmove.org:

“Credible evidence, research, even a civil trial have shown that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was undoubtedly killed by a conspiracy of institutional forces. The FBI, mafia, military intelligence, and Memphis Police Department are all linked to the assassination.

The US media is guilty of suppressing and censoring vital information that contradicts the official story. The media and government position that James Earl Ray was the lone assassin is absurd in the face of the actual evidence.

MLK was one of the most inspiring and effective leaders in US history. Like Malcolm X, his struggle for civil rights broadened from race issues to larger concepts of class, values and peace.

Shortly before he was murdered, he was involved in organizing a “poor people’s movement” and march on Washington DC. He had also become an outspoken critic of the Vietnam War. King was considering running for office on a presidential ticket with Dr. Benjamin Spock on an anti-poverty, anti-war platform.

He had been under surveillance for years by the FBI–in official attempts to tie him to communism and blackmail him. FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover was, by all accounts, obsessed with stopping King.

The 60’s were a different era. Popular revolution and truly radical progressive change were concrete possibilities. Civil unrest and “race riots” had erupted in many American cities. By some twisted institutional logic, the King assassination may have been “justified” or sanctioned in terms of “National Security.”

After you digest the facts of the MLK assassination, we hope you find it harder to go along with a system that killed him. He stood for love, justice, equality and peace. He is held up as a national hero, with his own national holiday. And yet it is this very system that killed him and continues to cover up the truth.

Since his death, King’s popular image has been diluted and stripped of significance. In many people’s minds, he’s just that 60s black leader who said, “I have a dream.” There is little connection to his actual revolutionary vision. This is the true tragedy and the likely motivation behind the King assassination.

Like other assassinated leaders, Martin Luther King had the ability to bring words and ideas to life, to inspire passion, and to wake people up. Such leadership is very dangerous to a system built on deception and manipulation.”(End of Excerpt) Read the rest of this engaging article by clicking here:(http://www.truthmove.org/content/mlk/
