The Mass Moonwalk In London Was A Magnificent Tribute To The King Of Pop!

I bet the King of Pop is looking down from that great big paradise in the sky with so much pleasure. His fans are coming out in droves all over the world in celebration of both their lives & his.Because like one Michael Jackson devotee said:

Your music was the soundtrack of my youth.”

That statement sums it up for a whole host of people. It may have applied to the hundreds of people who filled the streets of London to give Michael Jackson one magnificent tribute. A mass moonwalk!

Here’s more from the Telegraph:

“Hundreds of Michael Jackson fans descended on London’s Liverpool Street station for a flashmob ‘Moonwalk’ in memory of Michael Jackson. The impromptu gathering, which had been organised through Twitter and Facebook, saw several hundred people congregate outside the mainline railway station, some even dressed in masks and sparkly gloves like Michael Jackson.

Dozens of photographers, journalists and police officers kept a watchful eye on the largely good-natured gathering, who danced and sang along to some of Michael Jackson’s biggest hits. Fans at the event used Twitter to share photos and videos of the event, and the flashmob was one of the hottest topics of conversation on the microblogging site.”(End of Excerpt) Read the rest here.

Rush Limbaugh Claims That Gov. Sanford Went To Argentina Because Of President Obama’s Stimulus Package!

Rush Limbaugh is so not credible that even the most ignorant of his listeners should be able to discern that! His blind hatred & obsession with evoking Obama’s name whenever possible has driven him to link our president to everything except 9/11.

According to Rush Limbaugh, the disgraced South Carolina governor who ran off to Argentina really left because of Obama’s stimulus package.Never mind the fact that Gov. Sanford was in Argentina enjoying his lover’s “tan linesbefore Obama was the president.

Instead of running from stimulus,it appears to me that Gov. Sanford was actually running towards stimulus with his Argentinian lover,Maria! And,apparently,he has used state funds to get there in the past.

People were outraged when he didn’t want to accept Obama’s stimulus package because South Carolina is such a poor state. He held steadfast to his position as a fiscal conservative.

And ,now we learn that Gov. Sanford has used taxpayer money to help fund an illicit affair! What a disgusting hypocrite & liar!

Here’s more from wistv:

“A movement has begun to open an investigation into Governor Mark Sanford’s trips to Argentina, during which he carried on an extramarital affair with a Buenos Aires woman.

Republican state Senator Jake Knotts says he met with SLED Director Reggie Lloyd Friday morning, and asked the agency to investigate any misappropriation of tax dollars, malfeasance in office, misconduct in office and whether anyone knowingly lied about the governor’s activities.

For seven years he has nothing but been a protector of the taxpayers’ money, and now come to find out it’s being misused,” said Knotts.

But it’s ‘okay’ if you misuse it and you are allowed to pay it back. There is no forgiveness for misuse or taking taxpayer money.”

But a SLED spokesman said Friday that given the information known, they do not believe a criminal investigation will be launched.Emails given to The State newspaper appear to indicate Sanford began an affair with the woman, whom Argentine media identifies as 41-year-old María Belén Chapur, during a taxpayer-funded trip with the Commerce Department in July 2008.

Sanford said this week he will repay the cost of the trip.Knotts says as a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, he will have the committee investigate with full subpoena power into the matter.”(End of Excerpt) Read the rest here.

After Perez Hilton Posted This About Michael Jackson,I’m Glad Someone Punched Him!

At first,I felt kind of bad for Perez Hilton. But, after he claimed that Michael Jackson may have faked his death,I say knock his ass out! Before you go on camera crying about being mistreated by others,Perez Hilton, why don’t you ask  yourself why people find you to be so revolting?

This clown has no respect for the gay community, even though he is gay. And Perez Hilton obviously has no respect for the living or the dead. The post that he put up immediately after Michael Jackson died was cold, callous,& insensitive. He should have did some research before he opened his fat trap! Where was his sources on this one?!!

Michael Jackson Dies:This Must Be What It Felt Like When John Lennon Passed!

Michael Jackson was the subject of endless fascination for generations of people.Children of the 21st century still love & adore him in “Thriller” & “Beat It”!

And even though he went through a wacky stage in his later years,I still loved him.I made have been mad at him for changing his appearance & allowing himself to be likened to a child molester.

Despite all the tragic situations that he got himself in,I will remember him as the King of Pop.He is on the same level as Elvis Presley.

Michael Jackson’s body gave up his soul today. But,this legendary figure will live on for eternity.Folks like him never die.

The sadness that I feel is so overwhelming. Now,I know what it must have felt like for so many when John Lennon died.Who didn’t love Michael Jackson at one time or another?

Here’s more on this eternal legend from CBS 5:

“King of Pop Michael Jackson died Thursday at a Los Angeles hospital where he was rushed around 1 p.m. PT by paramedics.

Jackson, 50, suffered cardiac arrest.

Capt. Steve Ruda told the Los Angeles Times earlier Thursday that paramedics responded to a call at Jackson’s home around 12:26 p.m. Ruda said Jackson was not breathing when they arrived.

Law enforcement sources and city officials told the LA Times that Jackson was declared dead by doctors Thursday afternoon after arriving in a deep coma at the hospital.

Jackson had announced months ago that he would be doing a comeback tour, but his representatives announced in May that the the star would postpone several of his London shows scheduled for this summer.

Jackson, who has sold more than 750 million albums and won 13 Grammys, hasn’t undertaken a a major tour since 1997 or released an album of new material since 2001.

The 50-year-old singer has been seen in public infrequently since he was acquitted of child molestation in California in 2005. He has struggled to pay his debts, and was forced last year to give up the deed to Neverland, his 2,500-acre ranch and miniature amusement park in California.

On May 20, Jackson’s representatives announced several postponments to his London comeback shows scheduled for this summer. The opening night at the 02 Arena had been set for July 8 but was be moved back to July 13, promoters said. In addition, other shows scheduled for July were moved to 2010.

The delays fueled speculation that Jackson was suffering from health ailments.”(End of Excerpt) Read the rest here.

And even more from E! Online:

“The crowns fit: Michael Jackson was the King of Pop; Elvis Presley was the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll. Both men commanded the pop-culture landscape, as much as the charts. Both men influenced their industry, as well as scores of artists.

And both men died unexpectedly and barely into middle age.

Jackson, whose lifetime of hits helped sell more than 750 million albums worldwide, whose smooth moves revolutionized dance as much as pop, and whose penchant for headline-making helped burnish his brand, and, following child-abuse allegations, helped tarnish it, as well, died today after being found unconscious at his Los Angeles home, multiple sources confirm to E! News.

Jackson suffered a heart attack, according to father Joe Jackson, and never recovered.”(End of Excerpt)Read the rest here.
