Michael Jackson:People Still Go Wacko Over Jacko!

I wish that Michael Jackson could go back to how he looked in the 1980’s. Because the new pasty M.J. looks like a deformed, Japanese animated character! But,I won’t get into his facial oddities here. You can go here to get the history of his transformation from a black man to a man that is totally devoid of color! His weird addiction to plastic surgery & young boys are two of the main reasons why he’s no longer big in America! Not to mention the fact that his music is just not what it used to be. Here’s more on his comeback from The Rolling Stone:

The plan to bring Jackson to the O2 has reportedly been in the works for two years. AEG Live will coordinate the event. Tickets go on sale next Wednesday, March 13th. Fans can register for the chance to buy tickets on MichaelJacksonLive.com; the ticket sale will be similar to the Led Zeppelin reunion one, where registering results in a unique password that gives the user the chance to buy up to four tickets.

Given the rumored decline of Jackson’s health, British bookmakers — who apparently take bets on everything — are already giving odds that Jackson doesn’t perform at all, or at least doesn’t complete the run of 10 shows. For Jackson, the concerts would be his first performance of any kind since he sang a couple lines of “We Are The World” at the World Music Awards in 2006. There are rumors that the This Is It run may be extended to up to 25 shows if there is enough demand, but that likely won’t be announced until the first 10 sell out. Jackson is likely looking to raise some cash — and the sum will be formidable — with the O2 shows. The singer’s dwindling finances resulted in the foreclosure of Neverland Ranch; some 2,000 items from Jackson’s famed California home will be auctioned starting April 21st.”(End of Excerpt) Read the rest here.

And it looks like he’ll have no problem getting people to buy tickets! Michael Jackson may not drive the crowds bezerk here in America, but overseas, the fan’s interest sure has not waned. The website that lets fans register for tickets to his upcoming O2 concert has received 16,000 hits per second! Here’s more from the Telegraph:

“MichaelJacksonLive.com is struggling to cope after being inundated with hundreds of thousands of requests. Dozens of people hoping to register for the “pre-sale” draw have posted comments on the site’s forum complaining that their applications do not appear gone through. Many say that they have not yet received a confirmation email, while others are baffled that they must sign up to Jackson’s official newsletter in order to have a chance of getting early tickets. A spokeswoman for AEG Live, which is promoting the concerts, said that they had been overwhelmed by the level of interest. “The site is receiving 16,000 requests per second, so demand is extremely high, phenomenal is an understatement,” she said. The pop star appeared in person at the arena in Greenwich, southeast London on Thursday afternoon to announce a 10 date summer residency, telling fans that they would be his last dates in the capital. Tickets go on general sale on March 13, but fans can apply for a chance to buy pre-release tickets by registering on MichaelJacksonLive.com or texting “MJ” to 81707. The sheer number of people desperate to see Jackson’s comeback – and farewell – shows appears to be slowing down the application process. One fan wrote on the Michael Jackson forum: “I’ve tried to register like ten times now, but I don’t get any confirming email. Anyone else? What can I be doing wrong?” (End of Excerpt) Read the rest here.
