No More President-Elect Obama! It’s PRESIDENT BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA NOW! YAY!!

President Barack Obama gives his inaugural address at the U.S. ...

President Obama says he is “humbled by the tasks before us“. Our new president began his speech by laying out the challenges that Amercans face. He talked about how hard our forefathers worked & the sacrifices that they made. President Obama reminded America that we are a strong, great nation. We will meet these challenges & defeat them.

Here are some quotes from his speech that I especially liked:

“America has carried on because we have remained faithful to the ideals of our forefathers. ”

“The challenges we face are real….the time has come to set aside childish things.”

“The God-given promise that all are equal, all are free…..”

“Greatness is never a given, it must be earned….”

“All this we can do, all of this we will do…they have forgotten what this country has already done.”

” It’s not whether our government is too big or too small, but whether it works.”

“Spend wisely, reform bad habits,& do our business in the light of day…”

“As for our common defense, we reject the idea of safety over our idealswe will not give them up for expedience’s  sake.”

We are ready to lead once more.”

Our common humanity will reveal itself.”

“A new era of responsibilitythis is the price & promise of citizenship.”

“Let us mark this day in remembrance of who we are & how far we traveled.”

I could go on & on because there are so many great quotes that can be pulled from President Obama’s speech. It was a pep speech for America. Yes, we will, America! And President Obama laid out exactly how America can proceed towards a better future. He wove historical events into the present to illustrate how durable Americans have always been. I believe all the hype that surrounds Barack Hussein Obama is completely warranted. For America has elected a truly, great man with an ethereal aura to bring us out of the wilderness of despair. I believe that this is one president that most Americans will be proud of.
