What happened today at Fort Hood army base is both tragic & unbelievable.I was astounded when the news broke that people had been gunned down at one of the largest military bases in the free world! The shooter who was behind today’s massacre is an Army psychiatrist.

He was counseling other soldiers when Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan clearly needed help dealing with his own mental issues.He freaked out & killed 12 people.31 folks were also wounded in this shooting rampage.

“A military mental health doctor facing deployment overseas opened fire at the Fort Hood Army post on Thursday, setting off on a rampage that killed 12 people and left 31 wounded, Army officials said.

Authorities said immediately after the shootings that they had killed the suspected shooter, but later in the evening they recanted and said that he was alive and in stable condition at a hospital, watched by a guard.

“His death is not imminent,” said Lt. Gen. Bob Cone at Fort Hood. He offered little explanation for the mistake, other than to say there was confusion at the hospital.A law enforcement official identified the shooting suspect as Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan.

The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss the case publicly.The violence was believed to be the worst mass shooting in history at a U.S. military base.

The shooting began around 1:30 p.m., when shots were fired at the base’s Soldier Readiness Center, where soldiers who are about to be deployed or who are returning undergo medical screening, Cone said.It was unclear what the motive was, though it appeared he was upset about a scheduled deployment.

U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison said the Army major was about to deploy overseas, though it was unclear if he was headed to Iraq or Afghanistan and when he was scheduled to leave. Hutchison said she was told about the upcoming deployment by generals based at Fort Hood.” Read more here.

Talk about a cringe worthy moment! When Contessa Brewer of MSNBC interviewed Rev. Jesse Jackson,she called him Rev. Al Sharpton.

Well,Rev. Jackson took about half a minute to correct this pretty little birdbrain.I think he did that because he wanted to keep his composure.But,he was visibly agitated by the ridiculous gaffe that Contessa Brewer made.Who would confuse Jesse Jackson with Rev. Al Sharpton?

After apologizing,Contessa Brewer claimed that was what the script said.I’ve heard of sticking to the script,but wow! Can you really blame the teleprompter for that mistake,Contessa Brewer? I think not!

A British police officer reported spotting three aliens that were 6ft. tall & blond.They were dressed in white overalls. Apparently,the supernatural beings were examining a crop circle that was near Silbury Hill,Wiltshire. They took off like the speed of lightening when the off-duty cop saw these otherworldly creatures.

Now,this cop’s sighting sounds pretty far-fetched to me,but some folks are buying his story. I mean,I’ve heard of people seeing the Men In Black,but never the aliens in white. Pretty weird stuff!

He said: ”I am quite convinced the officer had an experience that day and one that we have not fully explored.

Have you seen the spooky halo-shaped cloud that was spotted in the Moscow sky?I would be freaked out if I saw something like that here in America! I mean,it does look like an alien mothership or some otherworldly object.

But,along with the scary house decor,devilish sound effects & costumes,I might like seeing a supernatural looking cloud hovering in the sky this Halloween.That would really make trick or treating even more scary & fun.

I’m not sure if President Obama was feeling down about the Olympics loss.It sure seemed like we had a whole lot of folks here in America that were quite gleeful that Chicago was the first city that the Olympics committee voted out.

Well,I’m sure that glee will dissipate completely once those people find out that President Obama has won a Nobel Peace Prize.And he hasn’t even been president for a year.I know that’s going to piss the Obama haters off! Because being the third sitting U.S president to receive a Nobel Peace Prize is one helluva win!

I’m sure that President Obama didn’t appreciate or want his warm praises.The last thing that he wants is to be associated in any way with a dictator who said that Obama should be the president forever.Especially when you’ve got some fruitcakes out there comparing Obama to tyrants & dictators. I’m sure that yet another Obama conspiracy theory is being formed at this very moment.

The poor guy who had to translate this long rant got tired out & had to be relieved of his duties.I just feel sorry for the people who have to call Muammar al-Gaddafi their leader for the past 40 years.What a loon!

And if I were a Bedford resident,I’d be outraged that this terrorist-backer had his tent pitched on a piece of land that is owned by Donald Trump.I just hope that the “Trumpster” wouldn’t stoop this low for cash.

I received a lot of comments about a post I did on Mackenzie Phillips story. Some people felt that her incestuous past should be revealed because it might help someone else. Really?!! How will knowing that John Phillips supposedly banged his own flesh & blood make a difference in anyone’s life? The world is not a naive place,even though some of its inhabitants apparently are!

Mackenzie Phillips isn’t shedding light on incest for the first time. She is telling the world a personal story that she claims is true. Since John Phillips isn’t here to defend himself, only Mackenzie Phillips & God know the truth. The only person Mackenzie Phillips is really helping by telling this sordid tale is herself. And that’s only if she can top the bestseller’s list.
